Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are back with the royals for their annual Christmas Day outing.

The royal siblings stepped out alongside their parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, both 43, on Thursday, Dec. 25, as they all made their way to the morning church service at St. Mary Magdalene on Sandringham’s grounds.

While Prince George and Princess Charlotte took the outsides as the family of five walked together to mass, Prince Louis took a spot in the middle between their parents.

Princess Charlotte sported a brown coat for the occasion, coordinating with her mom in the color. Meanwhile, Prince George and Prince Louis sported suits like their dad — although Prince William accessorized with a patterned scarf!

Although Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, largely stay out of the public eye, they have been joining the royals for Christmas in recent years. Prince George and Princess Charlotte made their debut at the outing in 2019, and their little brother, Prince Louis, first attended in 2022.

After attending mass, the royals traditionally greet well-wishers gathered outside to wish them a happy holiday. George, Charlotte and Louis usually walk away with small gifts such as flowers, stuffed animals or treats — which they are allowed to keep.

According to official royal gift policy (per Hello!), members of the royal family are allowed to accept gifts from individuals not personally known to them, including the public, but gifts must meet certain criteria. Generally, the items should be of low monetary value, with the cost less than $188.

The British royal family traditionally celebrates Christmas by gathering at their Sandringham estate, located 110 miles north of London — and has done for generations. Prince William grew up doing the same outing that he now brings his children to!

On Christmas Eve, they exchange inexpensive gag gifts, like the leather toilet seat Princess Anne gave her brother King Charles one year and the "Grow Your Own Girlfriend" kit Kate Middleton gave brother-in-law Prince Harry before he met Meghan Markle.

After their church outing on Christmas Day, they have lunch at Sandringham House and watch King Charles' annual Christmas broadcast on television at 3 p.m.

The Prince and Princess of Wales last stepped out with their three children for another holiday event: Kate's "Together at Christmas" carol service on Dec. 5. The annual event, which just marked its fifth year, saw the couple color coordinating with their kids in green and navy outfits as they sat together in Westminster Abbey for musical performances, readings and more.
