Emma Heming Willis is sharing a heartfelt throwback video of her and Bruce Willis riding a roller coaster together.
On Monday, Dec. 22, Emma, 49, revealed on Instagram that she recently took her and Bruce's daughters Mabel Ray, 13, and Evelyn Penn, 11, to Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles. In honor of the outing, she posted a video that Bruce, now 70, took of the couple riding the amusement parks' roller coaster Viper back in 2008. The sweet video shows the couple shouting and laughing as they ride the coaster through each of its valleys, peaks and loops.
"Oh, God! I'm taking a movie of this! Hands up, hands up," Bruce, who shot the video, said, as he narrated the ride. "Keep your hands up! Not the corkscrew! Oh boy, oh no. Oh there goes the back. Oh Jesus Christ. Oh no, I just wet myself."
"I took the kids to Magic Mountain yesterday with friends. Our last ride was Viper and wow, I remembered it being a lot more fun than it actually was. 😅 It did not age well," Emma shared in a caption to her post. "But the last time I rode it was with Bruce, back in 2008. And that time was FUN. I’m pretty sure you’re not supposed to bring a camera on those rides, but I’m so glad he did. His commentary. His laugh. He always made everything fun. That was him, pure fun. I love him. And simply, I miss him being my ride companion. 💙"

Bruce and Emma's roller coaster video was taken before the couple married in March 2009.
They first met in 2007 and began dating publicly in January 2008. Bruce, who also shares adult daughters Rumer, 37, Scout, 34 and Tallulah, 31, with ex-wife Demi Moore, retired from acting after he was diagnosed with aphasia in 2022. The Willis family shared in 2023 that Bruce was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
In September, Emma published a book titled The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope and Yourself on the Caregiving Path, which she wrote about her experience becoming a caregiver for Bruce. She also recently shared an essay published on her website in which she discussed difficulties she experiences while navigating the holiday season in the years since Bruce's diagnosis.

“For me, the holidays carry memories of Bruce being at the center of it all,” she wrote at the time. “He loved this time of year — the energy, family time, the traditions. He was the pancake-maker, the get-out-in-the-snow-with-the-kids guy, the steady presence moving through the house as the day unfolded. There was comfort in the routine of knowing exactly how the day would go, especially since I’m a creature of habit. Dementia doesn’t erase those memories. But it does create space between then and now. And that space can ache."
