The Devil Wears Prada 2 press tour continues! It’s a new day, and with it comes a new appearance from the cast of the year’s most highly-anticipated sequel. This time, the Runway crew took London.
After flying overseas for the European premiere of her forthcoming film, star Anne Hathaway attended “A Night with Runway,” a gala reception held at the National Gallery following the movie’s screening. And for the event, Hathaway (who has worn a number of rouge-hued looks lately) left the red to the carpet, trading the movie’s signature shade for some striking black-and-white stripes, courtesy of Louis Vuitton.

Made custom by Nicolas Ghesquière, Hathaway’s gown was designed with a strapless sweetheart neckline and fitted top. Thick stripes contoured the bodice, following the lines of boning, before the piece broke at the waist into a dramatic double-layer skirt.

The outer layer, a pillowy, high-low bubble skirt with vertical stripes that elongated the legs, trailed behind the actor as she walked. Underneath it, a sleek column skirt peeked out, adding depth and dimension with its contrasting horizontal stripes and streamlined silhouette.

To ground the illusory pattern, Hathaway and stylist Erin Walsh added a chunky diamond Bulgari choker. The neckpiece, pulled from the Serpenti collection, mirrored the shape of a snake wrapped three times around the neck, its head resting between the wearer’s clavicles with bright emerald eyes. The duo added matching diamond earrings from the same brand—and Hathaway’s high ponytail, perfected by Orlando Pita, let the jewelry shine.

For a final touch, Hathaway slipped into semi-sheer dotted black heels. She posed in her black-and-white ensemble alongside her costars, including Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Simone Ashley, and Caleb Hearon.
